Is my son a british citizen if i was i was granted leave to remain n uk before he was born?

Answer:
If he born in UK , he is..
Yes if he was born here!
I would have to have more information to determine the answer.Sorry.
Your son is citizen of the country you are a citizen of.
once upon a time every child born in UK automatically become British citizen but law is changed, you should check with CAB or Home Office
Your son is a citizen of the country he is born in.where he took his first breath of air.
Absolutely not! He will not be automatically British just because he was born here. By law, he has the same nationality as you, as in Britain this is defined by the right of blood, not the right of the territory.

And there is more: if in your country prevails the right of the territory, chances are that your son may have no nationality. You will, then, have to apply within the Home Office and the Government of your country for at least one of the nationalities, it is better to apply for both of them.

As long as you still living here, it won't be a problem to get his citizenship sorted.
It depends on what 'leave' this entailed..just because a child is born in a country does not give all automatic rights...as you said you were granted 'leave' which means you showed your intention of returning to your own country and therefore raising your child there.
no, only if you are a UK citizen
Yes. Any child born in the UK after 1983 who's mother or father is legally settled [ordinarily resident] there - is usually considered to be a British citizen. :-)
Are married to englshman? If yes, your son is automatic become a british citizen. But if not i think you wait for 5yrs before you can apply him as british citizen. Try to ask imformation about this to the home office.
Your son is a british citizen , if he was born in England , Scotland , Wales or N. Ireland , and nothing will ever chance that.
There are a lot of conflicting answers on here.
The best thing you can do is contact the home office and find out the real answer.

Hope this helps.

It's really quite simple. If either of the parents is a UK citizen, or has Indefinite Leave to Remain, the child can claim UK citizenship. If not, then no. For example, if the parents have leave to remain, but this is limited to a certain number of years, then the child will not be able to become a UK citizen; however, if in future the parents do get ILR, the child will become a citizen.

Please be aware that having a UK-citizen child does not give a non-citizen parent any right to remain in the UK beyond the visa they already have.
Nice try to sneak in through the backdoor!

Why do we owe you a living because your crap country can't run itself?
It's not our fault you were born in a crap country so what right have you got to pollute ours with your presence?
If you were a legal resident of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, even though you may not have been a citizen yourself, then he would in fact be entitled to cirizenship.
At one time any person born on British soil would have been entitled to citizenship. This was curtailed due to abuse by persons coming to the UK with the express intent of having children with British citizenship even though they themselves were not entitled to it.
Yes if you have been granted permanent leave in UK before your son was born he automatically becomes a British Citizen. I have read about that and it is the answer to your question.
You need to have indefinite leave to remain and then yes
if it's limited-no
