If we want fair immigration sould people from war torn countries be considered before Mexicans ?

Answer:
Political Assylum should always be a Priority Status and in fast forward mode to save lives and every help available should be given. This is exactly why people are screaming about illegal aliens taking advantage of the situation and Americans. They jump the line making it almost impossible for others who have obeyed the laws to come here legally.
Absolutely. There are many more countries that are far more poor and politically unstable.
No, fair Immigration means fair for EVERYONE
HOW is that fair Zoe?
i'm not sure...it depends on our goals as a country. do we want to help people who need it? or do we want to strengthen the US by diversifying our population? if it's the 2nd, than i guess we should go for countries with low immigration rates. maybe those are war torn, maybe not. if it's the 1st, ....well, i don't know how i feel about it. some countries going through war right now, i'll admit that i'm a little afraid because their beliefs and value systems are completely different than what we all accept here in the US. i admit that it's mostly an unknown for me...maybe if i knew more i wouldn't be so nervous...but right now i'm not really excited about those countries immigrating. with mexico, at least we know what we are getting. but like i said...i'm undecided, not trying to be mean or hateful towards another group...
EVERYBODY should be considered before Mexicans.
Fair immigration means get in line and wait like everyone else does. Why does everyone have such a sense of self entitlement, this is the United States of America not whatever country your coming from you do things the way we want them done or dont bother knocking
It depends on what you mean by fair because everyone has a different definition.

Many immigrants today in the US are Mexican simply because Mexico is close to the US, so it's a matter of low transport costs. Also the wages in US are on average about ten times higher than wages in Mexico, which adds further economic pressure to migrate.
No, fair immigration, who ever does it legally should be considered, first come first served.
Yes
You are comparing apples and oranges...The rules for political asylum are not the same as immigration rules.
