The northern border is very insecure..And it should really concern the Anti Immigration crowd who scream border security and enforcement.Honestly, a border agent let an American through with one of the most contagious, drug resist TB's strain.What does that tell you? COMPLACENCY! They are complacent on the northern border, because they don't see Canadians as a threat to our country, however, what about terrorist groups, who can easily sneak through and bomb one of our American cities?
Its convenient to believe what you want to believe, and focus on the southern border and make up all sort of of stories based on fear and loathing.All the while, the northern border is being completely ignored, where a real threat potentially exists, simply because of complacency...

We focus too much on the Canadian border. Crossing between the nations should be like crossing between states or provinces.
Absolutely! I was watching a special on a border town in Vermont, where people drive on city streets into Canada...and there's nothing marking the border but a big stone with CANADA on it. Why not secure the country on all sides? After all, part of the idea of border security is defending our borders from possible terrorists.

We should secure all of our borders. We don't need to take focus off of any of them. I know in Michigan our Canadian border can be really tough to get through going either way. It should be that way all along every border we have.
Only illegals, and pro-illegals are b*tching about the northern border. That border has always been more secure then the southern border even when they didn't add more border agents. See Canada and U.S have communication with each other. Where as Mexico only communicates that America needs to take their criminals. And Mexicans who illegally enter do wtf they want.
And since you're so concerned about the northern border, I think you're illegal or pro-illegal for even mentioning it.

We aren't ignoring it. Those here are talking about where by far the largest flow of illegal intruders enters the country - the southern border. However, the northern border is getting more sensors and border security as well.
Americans always forget that fences keep thing sboth in and out. We're overreacting, and we don't need to secure our northern border, and the southern border is secure you just simply can't control people and our systems need reform which many americans aren't willing to do. Our northern border is the largest unprotected border in the world because we are on friendly terms with them and will always be. We are both prospering nations. This xenopobiasm is why I'm leaving American very soon.
