Illegal Immigrant Babies?
Answer:
Honestly all taht has to be done is someone needs to challenge the amendment for clarification. If you read it carefully it shouldnt include them anyway.
they can leave with their parents but they have the right to come back when they're 18.
"awful problem" *rolls eyes*
Nothing's going to change anytime soon despite the few racists that still exist in 2007. You're creating a xenophobic Berlin wall with your mentality, history has proven that doesn't work.
Send the children back with the parents.
"ILLEGAL" is the problem
something should be done legally so that illegals cant have anchor babies
with their anchor babies...they(illegals) can leech off our welfare system..even though they arent legal citizens...all because they had sex
Very Selfish!
In the past if you could get to the USA and have a child you were almost a citizen. Because who would care for the child?
So this became a policy that illegals would come to have the child. Even whole familys could stay if one of the members was a citizen. Recently the law has changed and it is causing a lot of problems. But word that it isn't working anymore isn't getting out fast enough.
its not a mess. these people have no business making babies on soil that they are not entitled to live on. they should all be deported .put a giant wall , have guards with sniper rifles and if you enter it is at your own risk and lose all rights. these people are a burden to the tax payer who works and pays taxes to support these freeloaders. it makes me sick.
They can stay with relatives who pay US taxes , or else ship them back, that is the risk when people want to break laws and do things illegally !
I think hat if you are an illegal and give birth ...than your and your illegal baby should be DEPORTED
I agree with you, in what other Country could you do this and
get one over on the Citizens, to have to pay it.
In ancient times in the Democracy society of Athens, Greece in order for a Baby to be born a citizen the Parents had to be citizens.
But right now in America, the only way a U.S. born Baby is not a citizen by birth is if the Parents are classified as Diplomats (a good example of such a Diplomatic birth is the current King of Thailand who was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts).
On the other hand both legal and illegal immigrant parents can have their U.S. born babies be citizens.
If it were up to me the only way a Babies born on U.S. soil to Non-Citizens that would become citizens at birth would be if the Parents were legal resident aliens.
But mere foreign tourists and illegal aliens, their babies would not be U.S. citizens by birth at all.
the problem is that the parents are too lazy to legalize while they live here in the US..
Scenario...
Mikey the 6 yr old US citizen ...
Mikey was born in the US and has two illegal parents.
Hence parents have lived in US for at least 6 years...
they had time to start their legalization.
They are at fault for not legalizing...
Plus they probably didn't pay for the hospital that birthed little Mikey.
The parents make a choice not to legalize, they get caught and don't want to face the consequence.
p.s. It is easier for the parents to legalize once they have a US citizen child. That makes it even worse.
In all of the immigration debating that is going on here, no one has proven to me that there is a law that babies born to illegal immigrants become naturalized citizens. Is that what it says in our constitution?
Also, where does the Mexican government stand on this issue? Do they have guards preventing their citizens from coming here?
So, why don't we, America, send a bill to the Mexican government for the benefits we give to their citizens, like education, welfare, health care! It would help pay for the fence we are putting up.
