What law prohibits a private citizen from defending the USA whenever it is invaded by a foreign enemy?
Say you are lawfully hunting near the Mexican Border when armed Mexican Military invade and approach your position.
I am not interested in whether it would be smart for a lone hunter to engage in a fire fight with an army unit. I just want to know if there is a federal law that prohibits it.

they should not have been on the united states side armed and in uniform. tell your police dept and notify the local news media in your area. they have a cow when we put a fire out on their side, they should not be on our side with weapons.
We are not at war with Mexico. You would not be defending anything and you would be a criminal yourself.
Would you want to be shot because you went into Mexico? Just because you see someone who is not a US citizen does not mean it is open season on people: we aren't hunting here; these are people. Also, you have no right to challenge people as ask if they are citizens; they don't have to show you anything and it is not your business.

Self defense is another matter but you would not be self defending if you were out hunting for trouble.
No, but there are state laws that restrict the use of force, especially deadly force, to situations in which you the individual, or someone else, reasonably fears imminent death or great bodily harm. So if the soldiers constituted such a threat, then open fire. But if not, then no, you can't use force to defend "the constitution" or "the country" in that larger sense.
2ND amendment, thats it in a nutshell, the right to keep and bear arms, our country got its Independence through this very thing, just make sure they are not Americans you are shooting at, or one of our spec ops units running an operation there, and by all means get to a radio or phone somehow and let someone know whats going on, you will need back up
i dont think there is but if a foreign national military force invades america bent on taking over a citizen can and also if you are attacked by the mexican army on the us side of the border there will be hell to pay for those guys.

im not from texas, but i think that if someone comes onto your property you reserve the right to use firearms to protect yourself. get some land right on the border or as close as you can and go at it amigo! i think since the government doesnt want to do anything about the illegals crossing the mexican border we should form a militia and defend the border ourselves. thats why we have the right to bear arms isnt it? so we can always protect ourselves, even from our own government if they betray us, and betray us they have by not protecting our borders! but we all know it would never happen...
Well so far, I have exercised my constitutional right to bear arms against Mexican illegal aliens, and have even fired at them in self defense. You have the right to defend yourself from everyone who trespasses on your private property bearing arms whether they are American citizens or not.
