Ive lived in several countries over the years and never and I mean NEVER did I expect people to learn to speak English. I was living in their country if I expected to communicate, hold a job, and get respect I had to learn their language.

we should shut the border and demand everything be put back into english only. I am so sick o this press 1 for english and 2 for spanish. I wouldnt be a problem if they would come here legally like everybody else. You are just too easy on them. I say that you arm the border with auto tracking weapons and turn them on. After about 45 minutes they will not ever try again. Lets throw them California because those idiots are giving them free health care.
Congress decided that in 1986, only if they want to, and that's when they fixed the immigration problem. Today there's no problem unless the politicians tell us so.

Yes, they should be sent home. Yes, we should protect and police our borders. A country's first duty to its citizens is to protect its citizens. That includes protecting its citizens from invasion. The United States is experiencing an invasion.
What about all the others that take a flight to Canada and come in the border from Canada?
What about all the people that legally come here and never leave?
Do you porpose a fence along both the Mexican and Candian Border?
What about those that can get a boat and travel to small port towns in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama,Mississippi, Florida, and California?
Are you prepared to pay ALOT more for Fruits and Vegetables? Christmas Trees? Lawn Care? Construction? plus the 40Billion Dollars a year to detain and send them back?
Why not charge 1-2K for a guest worker permit.... 5-10K for a Resident Alien Permit for a 10 year period... Allow strict guidelines to become Naturalized....
They would be paying Taxes, Not stealing identities, we would have accountability of who is here and who isnt and can really inforce Employers who hire undocumented... dont have to build a moat around the country....

Siervocal, I've heard your argument that the US is exploiting other countries many times, but I don't understand it yet. Yes, the rich do business with the crooks who run some other countries and they collude to grab as much money as they can, but it looks to me like they're just doing business the time-honored Latin way, ever since the fall of the Aztecs.
If the US is really in control of Mexico and other countries instead of just going along with the local thieves who run the place, then why isn't able to run other places, too, like France and Australia?

I will second that motion. Why should we have to pay to keep them in prison. It's not fair to taxpayers. Yes, i do write to my congressmen with my views unfortunately they don't care.

+ Use the dirt to raise the levies in New Orleans .
+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat.
