Actually you can speed things along while you apply for a dependent visa at the english embassy in Kenya!
You will need a leagal marriage licence , birthcertificates , your english passport , which certifies you as a citizen of England!
Also get in contact with the immigratinon service in England pronto!
Go back to Kenya and stay there with him and see how long he wants you, lol, don't you women know by now that these guy's are just looking for a free meal ticket?? lol,lol.
If you are a British citizen your husband can apply for a UK spouse visa. He would make an application in Kenya at the British High Commission. He would need to provide documentation showing the legality of your marriage, that you have sufficient funds to support yourselves and that you have suitable accomodation.
The visa would be issued for 2 years and thereafter if you are still married and both of you living in the UK, he can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (also know as Permanent Residency).
If you are not British, but in the UK on a long term basis, he can make an application in Kenya to join you as your dependent.
