Bush, effectively, already has abolished immigration law. On the flip side, its cheaper to deport them all then support them, and their children, for the rest of their natural lives.
Why deport them? I say put them to work. When captured give them a choice between 10 years hard labor or 10 years service in our military. An honorable discharge gets them citizenship.
I believe that the "high cost" of returning the illegal immigrants is the biggest fraud that has ever been perpetuated on the American people and I am embarrassed that so many of my countrymen have bought into it.
If you remove the economic incentive for them to be here they will return on their own. To accomplish this I believe you need to make the employers pay the cost. Treat them like drug dealers; they higher illegals you confiscate their property. Once one of the large beef plant goes to the local sheriff I bet the greedy employers will see the light. I bet Americans would suddenly want those jobs again
Abolish it? No, we just need to enforce it. What do you suggest, just leave the border wide open for anyone who wants to walk through? Most people are good people, but you'd get some really bad ones here, too, if you did that. Part of the problems we have now are due to the fact that we cannot account for who is within our borders. And, weigh the costs of deportation to the costs we have now in schools, hospitals, etc. Its cheaper to deport.
Use the border as a target practice range day and night 24/7!!!

i think they shud send all these illegal immigrants back to where they came from.. do people not get the word illegal??? i think border patrol shud walk up to every mexican and say let me see ur visa or green card if they dont have one then put them in the car/van and take them back... its as simple as that why do we even have border patrol if their not guna do anything.. if mexicans wanna come to our country legally then i'm all for it but we have 12 million illegal immigrants in our country and no one is doing anything about it... everyone shud deny houses,jobs,education,and medical assistance to any illegal alien. if we took all of those things away from them they wud be forced to leave...
Do you think we'd have the large illegal immigration numbers if there weren't any employers willing to hire them? Get rid of the jobs first. Closing the border and deporting illegal immigrants is doomed to fail if you don't get rid of the jobs.
