No it's not just you! I know a lot of folks that were born here that feel the same way to bad we all don't get together and vote all these idiots out of office and put some hard working Americans in there instead. We need to go back to our original Immigration Laws and enforce them and not put our boarder patrol officers in jail for doing their jobs.

I guess you forgot about the policy that brought your family here. When did so many Americans forget the entire foundation of our society? When did they start thinking that this land has been part of their families forever? Our country isn't even 230 years old.

I agree with the Prof. poster above. Why is everyone so angry? The exchange over immigration is so heated and people express such personal offense over undocumented people. Why is this?
Please refrain from the simplistic 'the law is the law and they are breaking it' line as we can all point to many occasions where a law was not morally, ethically or otherwise right.
I think people are deflecting from some other very serious issues. It's a bit like the alleged welfare fraud outrage people had during the Reagan administration, while paying no attention to the billions of defense/regime change spending or that which corporations were pulling out from every tax payer's pocket.

No it's not just you. Did you know they can get a government loan just because they aren't from the US? I once tried for a government loan to start a business and they told me that in order to get one, I'd have to be from another country or be a woman.

Sure they are, they are the new work force the big corps. want cheap labor and lots of it. They say (big corps) that we have a labor shortage, americans don't want to work. Not true americans will work but not for what they want to pay. Pay a living wage and americans will do the job. So what we really see the big corps. throwing a big fit and americans are waking up.
I believe the president is about to sign a bill giving them social security.
This is America, we're all descended from immigrants unless you happen to be Native American.
