Lets hope they start making full use of them, but I also think the border needs to be secured first and focus the government on enforcement against employers.
1, First stop the bleeding at the border
2. Increase fines and jail time for employers
3. Deport anyone that is illegal whenever they come into contact with police. (speeding, domestic violence, burglary etc)
4. The rest will either return to mexico or find a way to become legal.
5. Probably take 10 years tops.

The DHS needs to also develop and open more investigation and examination offices, to go after the businesses that do the hiring of illegals.
