Is it true that not only because you married to a U.S. citizen, it means that u will automatically get?

a green card (if you entered illegally to the U.S.)

Answer:
No, it isnt true..if you came across undocumented (without visa) it makes the process very hard to get one...even married, you would have to return to the country you are from and your spouse would have to file a l130.once filed, it will get denied...that is to be expected...then the petitioner will have to file a l-601 waiver (hardship) to allow you to return to the US. this can take quite awhile...up to 18 month's if I remember correctly.. If you came in and over-stayed a visa, thats different. the Petitioner can file a l-130, l-485, and a l-765 to adjust your status and allow you to work legally.
i don't believe automatically as a friend/co-worker is going through all sorts of expensive red tape to gte her busband one and get things straightened out. they dated for over 3 years before getting married too!
Nothing is automatic. You can apply for a green card if you are married to a US citizen and can prove that the marriage wasn't just to get permanent residence.
No it does not mean this.
No, I'm sorry, that's false. If you entered illegally (uninspected) you are barred from getting a Green Card no matter who you get married to. You MUST leave the country and apply at an American embassy or consulate in your own country.
no.you must file the proper paper work to apply for a green card, and there will be more forms, interviews, fingerprints a physical exam, and a fine to get a green card

*the people who said because you came illegally u are not eligible are incorrect, you will be eligible, but it will just be a longer process and their will be a fine.*
No, it is not automatic at all.l Because so many people abused the system, and set up sham amrriages to get green cards for illegals, Immigration and Naturalization has really cracked down on that. Now it's near impossible for people with real, loving marrriages to prove that they weren't just trying to get the green card and they have a lot of trouble getting naturalized.
n o if u entered illegaly
u will not be eligible for a greencard
sorry to inform u that
getting legal by marriage is the option of only legal immigrants and no nothing is automatic
u need to apply for a greencard
but someone who entered illegaly
u will not be considered for a greencard even after u married an us citizen
No, only if that lame immigration law that Kennedy, President Bush & the liberals in the Senate wrote becomes law.
America is not sleeping anymore & illegals are not getting a free ride any more.
My nephew is married to a Costa Rican & after 2 years she still has not been allowed in or given a green card.
