Should the Minutemen be considered Domestic Terrorists?
Recently, HB 2286 has stirred up the emotions of many Minutemen vigilantes and their supporters. Lawmaker, Kyrsten Sinema told Phoenix news reporter Claudia Rivero that she has received many DEATH THREAT e-mails that are signed by people who claim to be members of the Minutemen vigilantes.
Ms. Kyrsten Sinema added, "One person in Arizona threatened to kick me in the uterus so that I would no longer have the ability to bare children." She forwarded the threatening e-mails to the FBI and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

I think anyone That is armed and is ready to comit violence for the sake of their cause is a terrorist. The fact is that this group of criminals wouldn't be looked on as terrorists because of the majority of white America is increasingly suffering from Xenophobia. When the organization first began, I believed it to be a good idea. The organization states that it does not condone racism. I realized, after visiting various internet sites and reading posts by people proudly stating they were Minutemen, that they have done a very poor job of keeping out crazy, homicidal racists. They should definitely be considered domestic terrorists.
Just anoth, I base my conclusion on the fact that it is not legal to threaten to kill illegal immigrants. That constitutes a terroristic threat.
No, terrorist are people who push crippled old men in wheel chairs off the decks of cruise ships, blow up teenagers at pizza parlors, crush the skulls of infants with rifle butts, or shoot fleeing students in the backs with AK-47's. Terrorist also sneak across the southern border disguised as migrant workers. Who knows maybe their on their way to shoot up a shopping mall in your town.
The minutemen just watch the border and report illegal border crossings to the appropiate authorities. They aren't even vigilantes. Thats just a loaded term and is not even close to being accurate. Vigilantes performed mock trials and executions I don't think the Minutemen have even been accused of anything anywhere near that.
If there are elements of US citizens within the minutemen that are or have acted in such a manner toward other individuals without just cause then i would have to say they need to removed from the organization and local law enforcement officials should deal with it as they deem fit, but this only applies to US citizens. And why exactly did she contact the FBI for a local matter? Odd. And exactly who's the new Attorney General of the United States. And exactly why does Congressman Michael McCaul have to file a FOIA report for the paperwork on Ramos and Compean from the Justice Dept when he is on the homeland security committee?

I would consider them more along the lines of "International" since they are scaring the hell out of illegal aliens from all countries who aspire to cross our borders. If they are terrorists, then I am anti illegal, pro minuteman terrorist!
Minutemen are screened with a background check to make sure they aren't members of hate groups or anything. That is a lot more screening than the illegals have, and we KNOW illegals have killed people. You can't point to a single verifiable event where Minutemen have harmed anyone wrongfully.
I sincerely doubt any real member of the Minutemen is out sending death threats.
These are the good guys on the frontline stopping drugs,etc. Illegals should get in line like other people do!
Absolutely not, this country was founded by the minutemen. This problem is only getting worse on all sides. The disrespect for the immigration law and Americans by some Hispanic immigrants has in turn caused ill will towards them. I can give story's of ill done by some Hispanics rivaling yours. However I must say this will only cause more pain for all of us. Most citizens feel they have been way to tolerant of our southern neighbors. We must focus on being a strong nation of many people. Not division based on culture.
You know what, the Minutemen are doing jobs that those who lead our country won't do. ANYONE who talks down about them or disrespects them in any way should be imprisoned on account on treason.
These Minutemen are trying to do their best to help us - - - and for what? Our government won't let us repremand these criminals who could be child rapists, murderers, drug dealers, etc. So they take it upon themselves, they put their lives at risk because of their patriotism and love for this country.
Of course, there are going to be people out there who claim to be Minutemen, but in reality they probably aren't. Regardless of what some illegal's race may be - - - KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE HISPANICS, LATINOS, AND AFRICAN-AMERICANS WHO OPPOSE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
We're the only ones who still stand up in hopes of keeping this country to be the great nation that it is.. And who gets the shaft?? WE DO!

The Minute Men are patriots that care about our country. I too would be one if i lived near the border. Every one of those Mexicans are criminals because they are breaking our law. It is our civic duty to turn them in to the authorities. Too many of them are committing violent crimes with our legal citizens being the victims. Then when they are put in prison every US citizen is victimized by that one criminal because we have to support him in prison by way of our tax dollars. It's not fair.
