i think that they will keep coming looking for a better life , i am in Ireland and the country is full up with immigrants most are nice hardworking people but there is a lack of housing and nowhere to put them , i cant see a change in the near future

IHard question for you guys. I think there should be a limit every 10 years to let immigrants in. Criteria should be that they be educated and able to work with no criminal record.
Well, there are thousands of Brits moving abroad for a better life every year. Spain has about 3 million Brits (so I read).
Everyone I know has family or friends living abroad or planning to, mainly because the UK cant cope anymore. Its a sad situation. NO theres no more room.

Therefore...the US has plenty of room for immigrants I believe...I mean seriously, look at the states like Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Idaho...lots of northern states population are very low. As for the UK...I'm not quite sure...60 Mil. for the size of the UK is almost to it's capacity probably. So my answer would be no.

The UK needs immigrants to do the jobs that so many benefit claiming British people are too bone idol to do. If it weren't for foreign workers many industries would fail to employ enough people to keep businesses going.
Good question. Immigration is apparently good for the economy although I'm not convinced. The UK now has such a ridiculously politically correct culture mean even raising these sorts of questions leads to possible accusations of racism.
But in answer to your question as long as the endogenous population continues to lose the will to live ie only having 1 or 2 children, being too choosy about the jobs they take, drinking too much etc, then yes, there is more room for immigrants

there's plenty of room for hard working, skilled, honest and decent, educated immigrants who integrate into our communities, speak our language, and bring something good to our culture...such as some new cuisine options (when can we see some traditional Bulgarian and Polish restaurants then ?) or perhaps some better jokes. Plus if they are Muslim, then of course, they are still welcome but should appreciate this is a multi-cultural society, with many religions, and the official religion is Chritianity.
and there'll be even more room once they deport all the losers and criminals who don't deserve to be here...

Mate, give it up, it aint worth it. Just accept that this country will become more and more crowded with massive additional burdens on Power, Water, Traffic, Waste disposal etc..New laws will have to be created to ration these services for everyone. We are a now a beacon to all the worlds poor and huddled masses. New Labour have won and there's nothing you can do about it.
No, there isn´t room for more immigrants but the only solution to the problem would be for the UK to stop receiving asylum seekers and/or to back out of the EU and deport all EU citizens, which is highly unlikely.
Actually I think that there are more......all of the illigal workforce on the labour market. I did spent a summer working as a waitress at a Oxford Street cafe. I did not meet anyone that was staying legally in UK (strange I know). To answer your question...there is room for MORE! UK here i come... female, white, swedish...do u mind?
