F1-OPT transfer, can I travel??

Hi,
I had a travel related query and was wondering if you could clarify.. I will be finishing up with school (doing my thesis defense) on 16th July. I have a job that starts from 20th August, the same day my OPT starts. I have received my EAD card and have the new OPT I-20.

My employer also filed for my H1 this year which was approved, and USCIS status page says "Approval Notice Sent".

Now I was thinking if it it possible for me to travel outside the US from 20th July to 15th Aug, and then re-enter US without a problem??

I have been reading about this on uscis and ice.org, and found that "You can re-enter after your OPT has been approved if you have a job-offer". But I am wondering that since I also have my H1 approved, would I need some sort of stamping if I leave US?? And then my OPT does even start by the time I come back!?!?

Thanks a lot.

Answer:
First of all, you really should speak to the person(ususally an immigration law professional) who did the H-1 visa for you.

what happens with H-1 B is that you will need the approval letter to obtain the actual VISA when you are in your own country.
