It is starting to look like this bill will not happen, but your right we have American Vets that need hospitalization and services and can not receive them either due to long drives to Veterans hospitals or services not offered at that hospital, and this is how we pay back those who served this country. I think the Social Security issue was one of the issue's that made most people think this bill was a bad thing.

I say hell no. They thing they should get is sterilized and deported. If other countries can't control their population we should. We have enough problems right now and have millions of legal immigrants joining and deserve some help. However illegals are criminals at best, invaders at worst and they deserve no compassion and no sympathy.
They turned down the immigration bill so maybe not. But what does your being native American or a Gulf Veteran have to do with it? I'm just a plain old white lady and I feel like you do. I know I've heard that they pay taxes but if they don't pay into SSI I don't see how they can and if they are illegal they should be booted out!
Maybe you should ask the US Chamber of Commerce, or the Catholic church, or the business community who has become addicted to illegal immigrant workers because they can abuse them as much as they want. Screw America!! if it puts money in
their pocket, that;s who you should be asking, along with a government that lets them do it.
My feelings, lock and load. The governent does not wat to handle it, maybe the VETs should.
With them having SS, they will also pay TAXES. That means money to fund all areas of the government.
Currently, those folks are working TAX FREE, they don't have a drivers license and therefore, if they get caught speeding, all they have to do is to pay the ticket out points getting take off their license etc...
So I belive it's a good idea for them to hahave a SSN so they can pay taxes like everyone else
