Canada need immigrants.?

What are the consequences of including an “OVERSTAYED” spouse of a U.S. Green Card holder, who is planning to apply as a skilled worker to move to Canada with his family and 2 U.S.born children.

Answer:
Not really sure what the consequences would be. Try visiting Canada's immigration website at www.cic.gc.ca for more information. Or try an immigration lawyer who might have some answers for you (try calling one in Canada if possible and see if they have any recommendations for you).
Technically, if you are applying from US, you need to be legal in US.

You can do 2 things:

1. Apply on your own, once approved, move there and bring wife through you home country consulate. Its pretty easy, sometimes without interview.

2. Let wife apply for resident status in US, she will get denied, but she can put "Pending adjustment", rather then Overstay on her canadien application.
