For a foreign-born child under 18, what process or application is required to become a citizen?
Answer:
The rules are very complex, but in general if you and your sister were living legally in the US at the time your parents were naturalized, you became US citizens too. You can apply for US passports, which will then serve as proof of your citizenship.
Here is an information page that will explain it to you. See question number 24:

If you were NOT living legally in the US when your parents were naturalized, they will have to petition for you as immigrants:

they can sponser you so u can apply for a temporary resident card and work permit.
Im assuming u r a legal resident, because ur parents had to have a permanent residence card b4 becoming citizen's and they put u on the application.
That being said, if u have been a PERMANENT legal resident for at least 5 years, you can apply. If u r a male under 26 u MUST be listed on the arm forces, no FELONIES. u can apply now, and hurry up because the fees are going uo within the next 2 weeks.
email me if you have questions.
Hopefully these links will help you - they list the circumstances in which a child is automatically a citizen or what they need to do to become a citizen.

I think it is a relatively simple process that INS should be able to assist you with.
Congratulations to you and your parents! I'm glad that you are looking for the legal ways to make sure that all of your immediate family members are able to become citizens. Best wishes to you and your family.
Happy Independence Day!
