Why doesn't Mexico reform it's own government and create a fair social structure?
Answer:
Their politicians like it how it is. Every citizen is poor and they are rich. Plus masses of them are sneaking into the States working illegally and sending money back to Mexico that eventually the gov't gets.
The "state" serves the wealthy.
Because the state has never shown any propensity to supress crime, but only to insure its monopoly of crime. and the institution of the state is for the benefit of the ruling class over the vanquished class and to protect from insurrection within and without - sort of paraphrazed from Siggy F and Oppenheimer.
1. Because the capitalist structure in Mexico doesn't have FDR's New Deal policies we created so protect the underclasses. When you fail to protect the underclass in a capitalist economic structure, you end up with ppl living in box houses, etc... and eventually they lose all conscious of breaking the law.
2. Mexico is controlled by 5 of the most powerful, richest families. It has been this way for decades.
I think this question is a bit misguided. Americans are the ones paying for the drugs that are corrpupting Mexico. American History includes numerous cases of us interfering with their government and economy to suit our own needs. We've been interfering with their Government for over a hundred years. We annexed one third of the nation and called it Texas (is it too late to give it back? I'd love to get rid of the Cowboys). In other words we are directly and indirectly responsible for the problems they are having and have had. They aren't victimizing us...we are victimizing them.
good idea, too bad the entire governmental structure is ineptly corrupt. may take a revolution to give them a fair government.
HAHAHAAH!!! Oh, the poor masses . Why doesn't Iran's government reform itself to create a fair social structure? Why doesn't the Albanian government reform itself to create a fair social structure? Why didn't the Iraqi government reform itself on it's own to create a fair social structure? Come on now.
Cause they are just as corrupted as the government in the USA
No, you are way lost in the real problem. The problem is that YOUR government exploits OUR countries and drain OUR resources, and when the influx of extreme poverty extends into the USA, then you don't want to pay the consequences. Illegal immigration is a problem created by your own government with their imperialism.
Yes they should, but it would take a consorted effort of rebellion by its own ppl to accomplish it. And by deporting all illegals that belong in Mexico such an event just might very well occur.
It is impossible for a country to reform its government. Only citizens of a country can bring about reform. Reform cannot take place in a country where the two classes are very wealthy or very poor.
GREED!and like some of our politicians no regard for its citizens
Reform cannot take place in a country where the two classes are very wealthy or very poor-what she is saying is people from Mexico must surrender
You've got a point, but sadly, it's much more easier for them to throw their problems at someone else.. It's easier for "someone" in power to focus their attention on anything but the real problem.
Not to be "mean", but MEXICO is a sad excuse of a country. They don't care enough about their own people to help them..
Do you notice any similarities between them and US? I DO!
It seems that it would be too much like right! Why should they when it is so much easier for them to come here and take advantage of Americans, regarless of race, ethnicity or gender. There is a House Resolution Bill 40 winding it's way through Congress in an effort to stop any further progression of amnesty for them too.
