Question : What's more important,being a drunk driver that killed a person or being an illegal immigrant?
I don't care if they deport him.Good riddance.I personally feel anyone who kills another by drunk driving should receive the death penalty.Being drunk and driving is not an accident,no matter if you are illegal or not.But all they are talking about is the fact the guy has been deported twice from California and was using a fake I.D.So what!He killed a man...isn't that more important?

I undestand the way that you feel, but the facts that the news focused in his immigration status is becouse the people usually care more of this stuff than other, so that create more controversy, he comitted three crime according the laws; driving being drunking, kill aperson and came here illegaly, but you dont need to be illegal to be drunking or to kill a person, whatever since the persons think that all the illegal are criminals they focused is his imigritation status maybe in sight words theyre trying to giving a message to the goverment or to the community; "That becouse they sould not be here". Anyway I think just like you, the people who kill somebody in car accident being drunking have to receive to same panality like a person that kill somebody with a gun, becouse it not a ccident. In my country many people had been killed in accident that involve a drunking person, usually the drunking survive, I can tell you many sad stories about that but I have too thta no one in my country would forget, One day a pair of parents was going in the way to drop their only two children to the school, and a drunnking man crashed them by the back killing both children, the responsable was a marine so the people feel indigantion becouse he wasnt received any charge. But the realities no ones didnt before. Another case is about a pregnant woman, her family want to give her a babyshower surprise so they took her to ahng aorund and a drunking man crashed them killing her and the baby that she expected.
he should get jailed for life for both crimes!

Some things aren't either / or. There is a story in both. I agree that the taking of another's life through stupid, thoughtless actions is the most heartbreaking story and the one that causes the most pain. But both aspects are a story as far as the media is concerned.

I was crippled and I live in daily AGONY due to this drunk-punk that hit me! I had a wonderful life, now I have nothing ! It was a TARHEEL living in MY HOME STATE of FLORIDA who hit me ! It wasnt his 1st time either!! He had done it b4 and so he sheltered his home & other assets in his wife's name so that when he did it again, no one could sue him for what he owned and rightly owes the victim (me) ! Who knows who he's hit or killed or crippled again by now !!! It was 8 years ago -- 8 years of AGONY , CONSTANT SPINAL PAIN and MISERY for everyone I love and me !!!!!!! I've also been subjected to 4 agonizing surgeries -- he walked away with a scratch! he didnt even get a DUI, he only got a small fine for Wreckless Driving" !!!!!!!!!
Not being honest enough to admit the fact that it isn't just a perticular category of alcoholic's (if that in fact was the case),or judging before knowing about the exact nature of the manslaughter that could have been contributed by being so dam tired to the point of causing the accident. And may be that he in fact did have a couple of beverages to soothe his dam exhausted self! But unless you as well understand such truths (that there are those who bust their butts off for others) then in no way will you not be so fast to blame. Hopefully you don't drive and use a cell phone at the same time since even that can create an accident that should be judged even more so!
i think so.killing a person( even being drunk) is not slight matter. but i believe you don,t have to be sad about it,if you are not relative of killed person.but if you know a famous and honest journalist , make him/her aware about what happen.

Illegals should not be allowed to operate motor vehicles on a roadway. There seems to be a push to put a driver's license in their hands and as long as there is we will see more of this.
This guy needs to go to prison for what he did, if he is deported he will only continue to show up in some other state and continue breaking laws. Our government has the responsibility to protect us from this but are failing to do so.
All dui's are preventable but the one's involving illegal immigrants is VERY preventable.
