I notice that you only mention the one way street. If that was what you wanted would Australians also be able to move to England by just hopping on a plane?
The British make us jump through plenty of hoops if we want to become British (you should see the paperwork I had to send in for my passport alone, birth certificate, daddy's birth certificate and citizenship papers, parents marriage certificate and that had to be originals as well). I don't see why we should make it easy on them! If, however, this were to go two ways I hope you don't mind England being inundated with Indians (or if you back date that you can get a lot of Hong Kongs as well).
If the British want to allow the Australian government access to their databases (Births, Deaths and Marriages, police records, etc) to Australians we'd be more likely to look favourably such a thing. I hear the British make more fraudulant passports than any other country (this is from an inside source).
And Australia is NOT a British country anymore. Where are you getting your outdated information from?
Try to remember that you British already have easy access to Europe via the EU.. can you stop trying to have ALL the cookies and cake!

we do not have the right to live in anyother british colony neather do they have any rights to live here. they are all self govening countries now. with the queen has the head of state.
australia is not a british colony anymore it is a member of the commonwealth.
this means it is easier for us to go and live there as we have many things in common however, it is still quite hard unless u are a skilled person.

i think we should be able to live in what ever country we like. as gb founded most of the world but this will never happen.
