it's always nice to know that the economy in Mexico has improved to the point that citizens can become wealthy by hard work and sacrifice instead of corruption.

If that's the case, why doesn't he act as an example to all that would leave mexico to come illegally to the US? Did he earn his money in mexico or the US? Does he choose to live in mexico or the United States? Which mexican cities has he helped with his billions of (pesos?, nah. Dollars, right?) How has he helped his country?
Maybe he can give some of his riches to his fellow Mexicans so they would not want to illegally cross the borders to come into USA!
I wonder if he'll throw a bone to his countrypeople so they'll cease being forced to the border for livable wages

First of all, let me just say that I don't hate Mexicans. I was interested in the question, and had to see the responses. Now I have to respond.

1. I don't hate Mexicans. I just happen to hate all illegals, and most of them happen to be Mexicans.
2. Carlos Slim didn't rich off of Americans. And he still does nothing to help the poor or the situation in Mexico.
3. Why doesn't he give billions to charities or to develop Mexico by creating more jobs, better pay, and so forth? He doesn't because he is a sad, pathetic, selfish man that's out for himself that's why. So there!!
