You guys don't honestly think...?

that the US government will actually deport the 12-20 million illegal do you?
what major presidential canidate has proposed this?
has Lou Dobbs even proposed this?
b/c I know that even Bill O'Reilly doesn't want that

Answer:
They probably wont . Think about it, a day without immigrants... this Country is based on them, they do most of the jobs that we never usually want to do.
If they are illegal get them the he.ll out of our country!
no, i doubt that it'll happen...but it should.
no. they don't like not knowing where these 12 to 20 million people are.
it wont happen...its just to quiet down the whiners, just to shut them up
No, they won't. But, there ought to be an elimination of the economic advantage for them to stay here, and as soon as they slip up, send 'em home.
If we removed the economic incentive for them to be there they would remove themselves.

Anyone who hires an illegal should be treated like a drug dealer. Their property should be confiscated and they should be sent to prison for a long time.

This would remove the economic reason for the illegals to be here. It would place the onus on the greedy people who hire them, not the poor people wanting work. Since property would be involved it would get law enforcement agencies interested, greed is a great motivator.
nah they wil sepnd the money supporting them like they have always done

stoopid i no
Hey if it was possible I would be all for it, but this the federal government were talking about here.
People who think you can deport 12-20 million people are delusional and might need to seek mental treatment for their condition.

There is no practical way of carrying out such a task and its would tear communities apart.

How long do you think the deportations would occur once the media started showing children being dragged into ICE vans handcuffed? The Feds would be painted as the new Gestapo and the American people would beg for a full amnesty. Anyone who continued to advocate deportation would be painted as a racist and removed from office at the next election.
I doubt that it will ever happen.Even if it did it wouldn't make a difference they would all come back anyway.I don't get the point they are here trying to make a living.
It would never happen because it is just not realistic.
Sure are.
no, of course the government won't deport this many people. They help support a foundation of the country that the Heads of State cannot "restock".
What they should consider doing is coming up with two plans as to how to handle the situation of immigration reform. 1 being how to assist the current illegal residents in becoming residents reasonably and 2 how to adjust our policies on inviting new people in. If folks won't take part in our policies, then show them the exit door of freedom.
Who really cares what Bill O'Reilly wants?
I'm not sure whether Tom Tancredo actually proposes deporting all of the 12-20 illegal immigrants but I believe he is one of the candidates calling for the stiffest penalties against employers who hire them, strengthening the border patrols and jailing those immigrants who have been caught, sent back and have returned. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also I find Spaaz's question quite open and objective and think it unfair of Jackie S to label it racist.
We don't need to do mass deportations. We are pressuring our elected officials to act accordingly. We will make it next to impossible for them to live in our cities. And when they destroy the sanctuary cities (yes check out Los Angeles USD), then they will have nothing and they'll have to pack their suitcases voluntarily and go back to whatever country they came from.
Not impossible but improbable. I'm sure there are some candidates touting this as a solution --- but they are politicians its their job to say whatever the people want to hear. It absolutely will not happen.
don't worry it's not going to happen, not realistic, not convenient, very tempting.
Well, I live in Ohio and they've been doing sweeps here like every week and deporting them, so maybe not all at one time, but adventually? yes.
Actually if you look up Deportation it has happened many times in history--Here and in other countries--and sometimes much more massive. It is not impossible-countries have used it often for control. And in our time. Not as hard as you think. Cut off jobs and benefits and many will return on their own. The rest can be taken care of.

But I think now -here-our Government is looking for a win -win situation. I don't think it will be win-win for all but for some. And I think this will appease the majority. Time will tell.
The country will be empty in a minute, there's more than 20 million, or should I say twenty million and one: (that 's me).
?Reenactment of Schindler's List with animation(2007?). American is really going down.
