Apparently nothing. Things will continue as they have until Congress decides to act. By then, it will be 50 million illegal immigrants. I'm all for REFORM that is humane and takes into consideration the fact that these are people seeking a better life. Fines should be imposed, and etc, but regardless of what happens, NO ILLEGAL IMMIIGRANT is Going Anywhere..
We should try securing the boarders. Once we do that we can deal with the illegals that are here. We are a soverign nation and we have boarders for a reason. We can't let the population of a 3rd world country just pour into our nation unchecked. It's a recipe for economic disaster. None of the polititions in washington in either party are doing anything about the boarder because they are all lying corporate scums. They should all be documented immunized taxed,remittance to their home countries should be limited to ten percent of their net income and should be taxed at 33% they should be fined heavily and there should be a ten year hold on them being able to apply for citizenship. Why should they get it before people that have been waiting to do it the right way?
The only truly illegal immigrants are the dual jew/US citizenship granted to zionists from israel! With the possible exception of the spies coming in from China!
Deport them all and shut down immigration for 10 years. Then build a fence to rival the Berlin Wall.
First change the law. If you are in this nation with out permission and have children they should not have citizenship. Also that should be dack dated for the last 20 years.
Make it a crime to give any state or federal benefits to illegal immigrants. Make it the law that no one that is born in this nation to a illegal immigrat can hold public office. up to 3 generations deep.
Take 20 miles along the mexican border give it to the US army and marines. Tell them to kill everthing that moves in it.
General orders shoot first and ask no questions.
Compulsave military service for all female and males at the age of 18 for a two year period in a new border army. Not the US army. But administered by the army. But these people can't be sent overseas or to war zones. But they will be fully trained in conducting war. ( Great back up reserve ).
As part of there service to the nation in there two years compulsive guard posting they will be able to recieve free education as no cost to them period while they serve.
5 military prisons on the border to Mexico. Ran by the Army staff. All Army training and Marine training should be moved to the border area to stop wasting our tax dollars.
As far as the 12 million illegal immigrants go, forced march in the hottest month of the year. 20,000 a day and it should be shown on every TV station in the country.
As far as employers of illegal immigrants, mandatory prison terms. And as far as the congress and the house, Forced out by public outcry. No retirements for any elected official. And that needs to be back dated as well for 35 years. Also it needs to be made a law that states you can't recieve a federal and state and a city or county retirement. One retirement from the government period. Not 3 or 4. Also there needs to be a citizens party started to get rid ot the trash in washington one office at a time.

From space, the borders we've been taught to hold so dear are irrelevant, governments meaningless, human beings invisible. How much longer can human beings survive squabbling over petty nonsense like borders drawn on maps by long dead politicians. We can waste time arguing over borders, fighting over resources, and bickering about God or we can unify as a race and society and build a unified human society in a unified human nation.
The plan that Congress has is a level headed approach to remedy the situation I think.

Deny illegals all benefits, no more catch and release - once it's known a person is illegal they should be deported, prosecute and fine employers hiring illegals.
If we did this there would be no need to build a fence. They would return to Mexico on there own.
It's time Congress started putting U.S. citizens first. I watched 90% of the debate and none of the arguments for this 'amnesty' made any sense.

all illegals should be deported or jailed, if found to be felons, executed!! anyone who hires them or rents to them should be jailed and lose everything they own to be sold and use that money to keep deporting, give border patrol, minutemen and military the right to shoot on sight!!

I love all these inventive ideas everyone has about how immigration issues and border issues should be handled. Very creative - but not realistic. Anger and ignorance of the underlying issue can cause great confusion and regretted hasty decisions. The "cause and effect" ratio has got to be factored in this somewhere.
When they took the drivers licenses away from illegals they did not see the future repercussions of their actions. Since you have thousands per state that "may" be illegal and their license has expired. If their insurance lapses while their license is expired they can not get insurance or a tag or pay property taxes on the vehicle they own. The effect of this action in the next 5 yrs will be higher Uninsured Motorist coverage (which in NC is only 10$ per six months for 50,000/100,000 limits - which will probably double or triple also your full coverage vehicles with low deductibles will increase by 2/3 of the cost you pay now) and the property and highway taxes that have been paid by additional people in the states will be a big loss and you will also see an increase in those taxes as well. Tag theft will be up by 50% with in those 5yrs and with that will be an additional fee added for theft or loss of tag higher than what they are now.
Those Legal citizens that are living off the system will continue to live off the system because there will be another factor they will find why they can't work. Those who are ligitimately collecting assistance will see a deduction in the rate of assistance they will receive because of those who are illegal and are paying taxes will be gone which will be a big tax revenue loss for the federal and state govt. There are too many factors to consider and the dominoe effect it will cause in future losses and increases on legal tax payers. If you deport the ones who have large amounts being financed such as homes and businesses ( they will have to be sold at the current defaulted amount of the loan - in turn - because of the default and foreclosure ratios you will see rate hikes in loans for those purchase from 6% with good credit to 9+% for the same amount of loan. Those companies that have secured those loans will have to appease the shareholders of that company to regain a loss if the property isn't repurchased with in 6 months.) I am not saying amnesty I'm trying to make an economic point to the issue. If you legalize those that have paid taxes for 5yrs or more with clean criminal history, have no debt or bankruptcy issues, and have kept continuous work history for the time they have been hear and have not been using govt assistance programs to live on then why not let those that have made a true attempt to be an American be an American? Those who do not make the criteria then deport them or give them 5 yr Visa then give them a reveiw before those 5yrs. I do not believe those that carry only a Visa should be allowed to receive govt assistance other than health care ( I don't want to get anything from someone that is sick or could be carrying some disease) but make them pay 50% of the cost. There are no anchor babies allowed since the ammendment change in 2006. The law can not be recended or back dated because of the Constitution. Ergo the ammendments to the document can only stand for the time it is set into law. Just thought I would give you something to chew on.
