Pregnant women entering US?
Answer:
I don't believe there is anything to worry about. It is sexist to ban women from entering the country just because they are pregnant. They would also not be able to justify it with longer standing visas because there is nothing to stop a woman coming here on a student or work visa and then purposely getting pregnant in order to stay.
The only concern we would have if she did not have the funds to pay for the birth
I dont think they would let her through with a tourist visa. Im no expert though
She must have a doctors written statement that she is okay to travel. As long as she's had no health problems with the pregnancy it should be no problem. Good luck!
You dont have to be after citizenship, based on our ridiculous laws, your child would be a US citizen. Funny thing is that if two US citizens have a kid outside the US, it isnt naturally a US citizen. Our system is different from many others where if your parents are citizens of country A, it doesnt matter where they were when you were born, you are a citzen too but if neither parent is a citizen of country A neither is the child. Makes more sense that way.
Ok, first you said your wife is due in December, then you say she's 2 months away from having her baby. Am I missing something?Because the last time I checked, it was June. Somehow I can't take this question seriously.
They come here so their kid can be a citizen which is the stupid rule.
before you and your wife come to the US you should address this issues to your embassy (about citizenship) and her doctor (about her pregancy) prior of her traveling. That is your best bet! good luck!!
