Will the passage of this immigration bill destroy the Republican Party as we know it?
Answer:
We can all hope!
Yes and take the rest of the country down with it.
=
More importantly, it will destroy this country.
Somehow the Republicans will brand their furor Bush as a lefty and discredit him, saying he never was really a Republican.
Thats already been done.just look at the deficit and size of the government.
Moot question - IT WILL NEVER PASS! It may get through the Senate because they are a bunch of morons. I doubt the Senate will pass it . There is so much pressure on these idiots right now!
I think it's doing more damage to the liberal dems. Their approval ratings are lower than the GOP after all the promises they made.
BTW, it will NEVER get through the House.
It will likely cost some of it's republican supporters thier jobs. Others are in perfectly safe gerrymandered districts, or will recieve enough campaign contributions from pro-illegal special interests, or will simply be up against such unendurably liberal democrats that thier constituents just won't be able to hold thier noses tightly enough to vote for the other guy.
It would hurt the republicans in the short term, but they would bounce back.
The problem is that the country would not bounce back.
The good news is that it will not pass.
dear sweet Jesus lets hope so lol
Passage of this immigration bill will destroy the U.S.A.
As a Republican I can say yes it will do damage, if the bill passes I am a Independent.
No. Republicans will continue to exploit us along with the illegal aliens just like they always have. They will continue to talk about cutting spending while running record deficits. They will continue to talk about religion while behaving like non-believers. They will continue to represent only the very wealthiest five percent of Americans, using the votes of the haters and the thumpers to make sure they stay in power.
it will create a new world order, the north america union.
