Fontana police detectives arrested Cristino Castaneda Guillen, 33, Tuesday on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, according to a police news release.
The arrest came after police interviewed Guillen in response to a molestation investigation.
The alleged molestations came to light after Guillen's daughter told her mother that she had been molested, police Sgt. Doug Wagner said.
Investigators said they believe there are more victims.
"We've identified four, possibly five more so far," Wagner said.
Guillen works as a grinder and polisher in a warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga, Wagner said.
The alleged molestations occurred between 2002 and 2007 in San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties, according to the news release.
Some of the incidents happened while Guillen was living at an apartment complex in the 17600 block of McWethey Drive in Fontana.
Police said they believe Guillen molested some of his daughter's friends as well as family acquaintances.
The alleged victims include boys as well as girls and
range in age from 6 to 13, according to the news release.
