Everyone always says "go back to Mexico and re-apply for entry" my question is how long does that take? What is the process? I'm a U.S. citizen and my husband came when he was 2 years old (no visa). So if he went back would I stay or go? Does it take YEARS or months?
Answer:
Staying here or going with him would be your decision. It takes years. I'm not sure on this one but I think they have to go back for a minimum of 5 years.
My best advice to you, is to see an immigration attorney.Make sure to find one with referrals.Best of luck..
