Do you think inmigration is an issue in the us?
Answer:
Not to the level many are making it out to be. Immigration law and enforcement may need a few adjustments here and there, but the issue in not as grave as it is being presented to the public.
This issue is so over presented, and one reason why is the political ammunition it carries. Politicians can cut their jib on this topic and often do.
Immigration has ALWAYS been a part of this country's growth. It really just a matter of controlling how much. It may be just a matter of tightening it up at times depending upon the economic need.
Lately the political arena has tied this issue to "protection" and "security" and created fear, anger, and resentment among the public. This issue is also used as a scape goat for other economic and social problems.
Again, this is not to say there are not any problems with immigration, there are! But its not to the degree many believe it is.
But it really won't matter, the sheep believe its a grave problem and eventually a band aid solution will be presented to gain political clout, only to be dragged out again with the issue suits someone.
Where have you been?
Hell, yes it's an issue in the USA !!
No to immigration reform!! Deport all illegal aliens!
Secure our borders! Protect the American people!
No, I don't. I think illegal immigration is a huge issue, though.
Of course it is. Don't you know that the congress is still trying to pass this outrageous immigration bill? Our borders need to be closed to everyone who is not legal.
Its obviously an issue. Look at how America reacted when they believed the Senate was going to pass that horrible immigration bill. It appears that the majority of Americans wish a secure border.
Where are you? or Where have you been?
Yes it is, very big one, the guys who planned to bomb the military base earler this year were illegals so yeah as long as people want to kill us and they choose to come illegally we gotta be on the look out
illegal immigration...yes.
immigration ...no.
do what is needed to do to become a citizen.don't just sneak pass the borders and expect to get the same rights as all the other people that worked hard to become a citizen in the u.s..
Video of immigration riots, and quotes from hispanic notables that SHOULD piss you off.
Does a bear S*** in the woods? Of course this is a passionate issue! Multinational corporations need cheap labor to improve the bottom line for the investor class & reduce the wages of Americans because they can only outsource so many jobs to take advantage of slave labor in China & 3rd World countries. Construction & Service jobs require the work to be done in America, so they need illegals to increase the labor supply & reduce the wages of Americans.
The new "North American Union" is designed to allow the multinationals to destroy independent truckers & especially the Teamster's Union by moving corporate Headquarters to Mexico, hiring Mexican Drivers, then firing their American drivers. The new Can-Mex hiway is being built at tax payer expense (it runs just East of Austin, Tx.) and will be a toll road road run by a Multinational company located in Spain. This allows trucks from Mexico to use all US roads to transport goods to the US & Canada. Chuckle, congress has no say in this as they can no longer negotiate trade agreements.
yes theres this issue with UNITED STATES'S IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE who blindly gives residency to 55000 people every year regardless of their quality or even language skill, no country is like that.
