Because your dad was born in Ireland - you already ARE an Irish citizen - go claim your passport. :-)

Where were you born? If he was born in Ireland...and you were born in the U.S than yes you are a citizen...but if you were also born in Ireland....than to become a citizaen don't you have a get a card or something...!?
if he is a citizen of Ireland still. you can be dual USA and Ireland. that is if you were born here in the states.
It really depends. Where were you born? If you were born here than that ofcourse is an automatic citizenship for you. If you were not, than answert this: how long have you been in these here United States. After a certain amount of time you are able to apply for a citizenship. There are two ways to go about this. Well technically three ways.

1. Take the citizenship test
2. Go through a lawyer claiming being here for many years and having a life, etc...
3. Marry a U.S. citizen.
