If many of you disqualify México without even a slight knowledge about it, and vice versa, then when both peoples will get some kind of undestanding and agreement to reach a better future.
If México were strong, with a high standard of life and with growth, then USA will be but strong, safe and will live peacefully

It's too bad Oscar, but you're gonna get a million xenophobes and racists telling you that Mexico is such and such. I agree, they do not realize the savage inequality that leads to illegal immigration in the first place.

i know my history. why would i want to read mexicos false history reports? where i come from we learn about history about the world. and we don't lie about it. why is mexico teaching it's citizens America stole their land, when we payed for it?
I really don't care to know anything about Mexico if you want to know the truth. I have no ties to that country and don't plan on moving there, or even vacationing there. Went there once on business and didn't leave anything behind that I would have to go back for. Why would I want to go to a country whose citizens hate Americans? I'm an American, and America is the only country I give a d@mn about.
Do we really need to know Mexican history or any of this? Will it melt our hearts? You know what? If you get stung by a hornet, it hurts right? Do you need to know anything about hornets to know that? That alone is enough to make most people go to Home Depot and buy insecticide to destroy the hornets nest. And that is WITHOUT the help of the illegals standing around the Home Depot parking lot.
Mexico is a foreign country. I don't particularly care about their country anymore than I do about Sweden, Thailand, Egypt, etc....The only time I care about what happens in a foreign country is when something happening in their country has a negative effect on mine. I'm an American.
Reading books and visiting Mexico, would not give you a sense of the people. I talk to those who are familiar, and I only know a fraction of Mexico. Its like knowing AMerica. Even though I live here, that doesn't mean I know even half of what America is about. I don't understand New York or Texas or other parts. I have some friends who lived there and talk to them. I know and have many time said the culture of Mexico is totally different than the culture of Mexicans I see here. The stuff I've seen here is adulterated by poverty and by American culture. Book are all bias and want to sell a point of view. Its hard to get a sense of Mexico from a book because you can't ask a question to clarify. I find it is best to ask businessmen who frequent various parts of Mexico ,and outgoing people who are honest and has a sense of humour. They tend to be more honest and not over exagerate Mexico due to pride, nor hate it because of vengefulness.
Sorry but what the heck does knowing about the country of Mexico have to do with the fact that there are 20+ MILLION people that have invaded our country, that MILLIONS are here illegally, that they are CRIMINALS for being here, that they take jobs that Americans want, that they overcrowd our ERs and schools, that they sponge off the taxpayer, that the illegals bring in disease, gangs, drugs and extra crime, that they crowd our prisons, and that they demand rights that they don't have.
I really don't care about how "wonderful" Mexico is. Obviously it must not be that great because we have 20+ MILLION people here that should NOT be here, mostly from Mexico.
We don't need Mexico to be a strong country. We don't need the illegal aliens. They are bankrupting our country!
One of Mexico's biggest resources is the money that the illegals send home. Their villages are suffering because most men are here in the US illegally. Mexicans should worry about their own country and building Mexico! This is not Mexico and this is NOT THE MEXICANS COUNTRY!
BTW, if you want people to learn about Mexico, your first link is in Spanish! Not everyone speaks Spanish - this is America and we are an English speaking ountry!
