It's a way to buy a voting block or at least some of our politicians think it is. If you let 25 million aliens into the country and then make them citizens then the hope is they will vote for the people willing to let thier relative in too.
If they make us focus on immigration then they hope we wont notice other things like gas prices, and the war. It works. Yeah everyone notices that gas prices are up, way up, but no one is concerned about it because they think oh it has to be up because are soldiers are using a lot of it over there. But you know about ten years ago truck drivers went to the white house and protested till the president lowered diesel prices. Why are we not dong this now? I hate it when people tell me our president has nothing to do with gas prices. That's bull. Do you know that man gets a penny off every gallon of gas pumped in America. That doesn't sound like a lot but when you think about how many people are buying gas everyday, that really adds up. Anyways Yes I think the government uses immigration yo manipulate people.
People in this country are so complacent. Ignorant sheep. You all are so angry about the immigrants marching (this is a thing that people STILL do in their countries), but who is out there marching about the high gas prices? Who is out there marching about the stupidest war ever? Who is out there marching about the fact that the president breaks the law and violates our rights that should be defended at all cost (as our forefathers so valiantly did)?

It isn't a matter of hating anyone. It is a matter of our children's education being ruined by overcrowded schools where OUR children come second in funding and programs to those illegally here, because they have 'special education needs'. For all those who came illegally for education for their children, I think they should certainly understand why we would fight to have our own children keep their programs and education they need for themselves.
