Tourists refused entry to U.S??
this would ruin our holiday, can someone tell me if this is likely to happen? will we be refused entry even after paying for the whole holiday?
Answer:
Unless he's wanted as a fugitive from justice, I doubt you'd have any problem passing through US Customs.they're more concerned about terrorists these days.not tax delinquents.
should have paid their taxes...point the finger at the rightful party- your family member not the USA.
Contact the U.S. State Department or Embassy. They should be able to answer your questions.
Not sure, you should contact someone at the US embassy in England and ask some questions.
I can only tell you that Homeland Security in the USA has a very bad name for treating people abominably in some cases. Is it worth the risk? You would have a better chance visiting another country. May I suggest Canada?
call an american embassy. they will be able to answer all your questions. good luck
Best to leave the offender at home OR contact a lawyer and find out what problems you may encounter.
Some crimes will keep you out.
He could apply for a visa, then you'd know.
A CRIMINAL record for not paying taxes?
I'd say that would have to amount to fraud, wouldn't it? But then I don't know your tax enforcement system...
The person who did not pay their taxes should talk to someone in our or your government. I'm not sure of what would happen. Seeing as how it is not a violent crime or one that would include a weapon of any kind, I don't think there'd be a problem but best to ask an official before coming. Good luck, I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
