Depends on where your coming from. Is America still the land of the free, or the land of the slaved. Look around, is the flag still flown from common house holds? Do immigrants attempt to learn, and speak english? Do all of them pay taxes? Do the politicians care about this country, or just their paycheck? I don't know any more than you,hang on, it should get interesting.

hard working illegals do not know that if they wait patiently for 2 more years they will get better amnesty plan. and they will be larger in number ( estimated 30 million instead of current 16 million ). all they need to do is support Lou Dobbs to kill any immigration reform bill this year.

America is still here and will always be here. What we are wanting is to get people to abide by the laws of our country. If some of our leaders are going to do their best to keep this bill running, then you know for a fact, that they are totally going against the laws of America. Not good examples at all to lead our country this way. They should be standing up for what is right. I am glad that this immigration bill was defeated, but it is not over yet.still we should pressure our senators and governors to keep this bill from happening in the future, flood their phones, email, and faxes to the max! Lets work together with this people!
I think so. First we have to give a decent job and a reasonable pay for the real and legal Americans. Then, of course, we will give an amnesty for the illegal ones. Otherwise, it will be another hypocrisy.
