This bill is a piece of crap. I just email a bunch of Washington weasel senators and "Jorge" Bush. I wrote the following to the Senators:
"I am very upset about this horrible amnesty bill. The more I read and study this bill, the worse it sounds! I am begging you to vote NO! on this destructive AMNESTY bill! Please listen to the wishes of over 70% of Americans! WE DO NOT WANT THIS BILL TO PASS!!
No matter how many times the Senate and Pres. Bush say it isn't amnesty, when you forgive a group of people for breaking the law, that's amnesty. This bill will bankrupt America! Why should taxpayers have to pay for the benefits of 20+ million people? Why should we pay an estimated $2.5 TRILLION for the illegals retirement and Medicare costs? Why should taxpayers have to pay over $22,400 per year per family? What about our families? Don't they deserve things ahead of the citizens of other countries?
Why should we be rewarding criminals? These 20+ million people have broken our laws and do not deserve special treatment.
This bill promises border security. However, based on the track record from the 1986 amnesty bill, security won't happen. We have been waiting 21 years for border security and we haven't received it. How can we possibly believe that it will happen? I honestly don't think it will.
These border checks are a joke! How can we be expected to believe that a complete check will be done in 24 hours. I have heard from experts in this area say that this is physically impossible. So when the background check isn't complete, they are still allowed to stay.
What about the sex offenders and pedophiles that get to stay? They are still acceptable people. What about the gang members that only have to sign a paper renouncing their gang affiliation. These are hardened criminals. Does it ever cross any-body's mind that they would lie and sign the paper to get access to America?
In fact I heard an expert indicate that the $4.4 billion won't even put a dent in the problem. The amount Pres. Bush is so please about would only cover the CA border. What about the rest of the border?
This piece of garbage won't stop illegal aliens from coming in. Not only will they probably lie about when they arrived, what about all the additional family members that taxpayers must support? What about the BILLIONS that want to come? They will keep on coming for the next round of amnesty.
This is our country. Please don't give it away to the illegal alien criminals! Please listen to the will of the people and vote NO! on the amnesty bill!"

Well, you can try writing to your congresspeople and tell them to stop it. That is the way the system works around here.
On the other hand, many people are writing to voice their support. So don't think you're the only one interested in the matter.
If you want to be truly stupid, though, you can try acting like a racist thug around Mexican people. Get life insurance first.
What is the alternative? Sixty billion dollar a month deficits with China? How does allowing millions of workers who are presently outside the tax system to become part of it cost the government money? Are you under the impression that illegal aliens do not now receive government services? We NEED workers. We HAVE to have them. Stop living in fear and think! This country was built by immigrants. There is no shortage of space here, just compassion. Don't be afraid of people who want to work. Be afraid of people who want to protect their own little piece of a diminishing pie. Don't be afraid to compete with these people. Start a business and get rich.
