Dual Citizen US/UK - wanting to live and work in the UK?

I have dual citizenship. Both US and UK passports. Born in the US and British by ancestry.
Can I just go to the UK to live and work for any period of time?
If i go for too long, will the US refuse to let me back in?

Answer:
You cannot lose your US citizenship unless you formally renounce it.
They CAN'T deny you re-entry being as you were BORN here. If it were the other way around, then that would be a strong possibility. If you're still in doubt, try these links:
