They can. Ask Duncan Hunter how it has affected San Diego. His fence is so good it has elimiated illegals coming across wherever it has been built. The good news is that by the shamnesty bill getting gutted it will remain LAW. It requires 837 MILES of fence be built and this is no milquetoast effort. it is so formidable that Hunter likes to joke anyone who makes it past his double fence gets signed up immediately for the olympics. Funny thing is they want to draft new laws to cover their asses for not enforcing the laws already on the books that Ted Kennedy himself helped to draft, not once, 1965 illegal immigration reform act...but now...like he has better mechanisms ...please. we cannot round up and deport the 600K in the backlog now. Quitcher lying McCain and Kennedy and serve us, the real citizens first. Secure the freaking borders or lose your damned jobs. All of you skeezy lying politicos.
They shuld build a treadmill on the border so the illegles can run all they want and still be in Mexico!

Also, just because a person a person if mexican, doesn't mean their poor! Also, they have a weak government over there, which has caused them to be a polluted area, also there are 500 years behind us. They are like that because the need for improvement the goverment provided is no longer avaible. The only reason they come to the US is so they can have a better life.

It's the U.S.A's fault, the government, you know people do raise money for relief funds. That is why some money is sent to certain places.
As for the fence... if you were my neighbor I would definitly want a fence protecting me. They already approved money for the continuing of the "fence" which is rediculous. But, whatever!
Don't you think focusing on bringing the troops back, funding money for veterans, health insurance should be priorities. I think so...

why don't they build a fence around all the bad neighborhoods in America. I live in Los Angeles the supposed "gang capital" of America, alot of the people who live here today are worse than some of the honest hard working Mexican people who are very family orientated. It just seems inhuman and cruel to think about fencing them out. If you're unhappy about paying higher taxes, then maybe YOU should leave! Wether you like it or not, White people are a dying breed in America and the Mexicans who will work for cheap and do the jobs you won't do because you have a degree and you are too good to wash dishes, an immigrant will do. Americans have forgotten what it is like to be an immigrant and want a better life but the laws and red tape make it difficult. i totally agree. the problem is both sides of this issue don't really want to build a fence. The republicans support the businesses who hire the illegals and the democrats want the people who will come here and support the liberal cause. But we have the money and resources to do this, we just need to have some elected officials start the process
