How do I go about helping a family member obtain a visa to visit the U.S?

My mother in law and sister in law want to come visit my husband and I from Mexico, but we're not sure how to go about helping them get visas to visit.

Answer:
They must go to a US consulate or the US embassy in Mexico city. They fill out a request for a tourist visa and pay a fee of $100 each. They'll be interviewed, and if the US consular officer believes they'll come back to Mexico, issued a visa. If they are unable to convince the consular officer they'll come back, they'll be denied.

Understand, the law requires the applicant to PROVE that he/she will not overstay the visa. It's totally on the applicant. Other than sending a letter to your inlaws inviting them for a visit, there's nothing you can do.
Your Senators and Congressmen have staff specifically to assist you with this...and they'll be happy to help you out.
why get a visa, with the new immigration reform is better if they are here illegaly...

Very difficult nowdays...unless they can get a tourist visa.
The U.S. Embassy in there country, you must submit a sponsor letter from you.
Wow I hate to tell you this but I cant even get out of America for a vacation, later on someone get in ,it has to do with all this illegal stuff,I have to wait 6 months for a passport, our legal system is that backed up.And now the immigration bill Bush was trying to pass was put to a halt,so things will be even more messed up.
