What do you think of the immigration raids in Los Angeles recently?
Answer:
It was a good start, now let's keep the ball rolling.
And let's get that fence built and protected by armed and dangerous guards.
Woo hoo party time!!!
Let's keep it up...
The more the better...
they are only doing their job
I think it was a good start.
That just showed why the immigartions laws must be enforced.
I was surprised to hear that it happened, but the article that I read said the immigrants received deportation notices. In all fairness, if that statement is true, they should've just left the country so that there wouldn't be a reason to get raided.
i think it's about time
We need more of this.
I think it's all a big show but in the long run won't mean anything. They round up a few hundred after six years of doing nothing and crow about how they're fixing the problem... blah, blah, blah...
Neither party has any interest in really fixing the illegal alien problem, short of rewarding millions of law breakers with amnesty. They get too much money from the industries who make their money exploiting "cheap" foreign labor.
The invasion won't stop until the feds go after the employers and close the anchor baby loophole in the 14th Amendment, and that ain't gonna happen any time soon.
Go Team Go! It'a about time. We need to start to run these criminals down and out.
It won't solve the problem but until the Gov. gets it's act together and puts things in place to remove these illegal criminals, it's a good start. Makes me feel better anyway.
It could be just a lot of BS but it shows some direction by our authorities that makes me feel we are back in the ball game.
YippeeeKYAAAA!! Round em all up like Cattle and drive their illegal a**es back accross the border
I think it is another great example of the U.S. actually protecting out borders. In addition, we have new initiatives, such as WHTI(Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative) and US-VISIT(a system of biometrics to monitor people entiring and leaving the country via fingerprints, set to be in place in Dec. 08). These are great steps in making sure everyone who lives here must pay taxes, which is my biggest beef with illegal immigrants.

Too little done , too late.
Mexico even said it is invading the U.S.. Our media won't tell you that because it is making money off of illegal aliens.
It is time to bring in soldiers to stop the invasion and to hire unemployed Americans to assist in the round up.
I liked it.
Didn't even scratch the surface though.
not a drop in the bucket....there should be hundreds each & every day!!!
The more illegals that are rounded up and sent back , decreases the amount each taxpayer has to give for their care. Why don't we send bills to Mexico, for the care of their citizens.
Too bad for the captured fools, but in reality it does nothing in terms of amking a significant dent on illegal immigration, they caputured a couple hundred, however thousands entered that same day.
I think those raids should continue and find their way across the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Wouldn't you be put in prison for breaking the law? Then it's no different for an illegal border crosser. One thing great about living in Maricopa County, Arizona is that we have Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He won't hesitate to bust an illegal, and that's the way it should be everywhere in the country.
As usual, all US authorities know is violence.
It's not the world's fault that you're all OBESE, so don't tak it out on the world, dudes.
I say it's about time. Additionally, we should label them as enemy combatants and ship their asses to whatever far flung corner of the globe is in crisis and see how long it takes them to try to make their way back. Then if they try to re-enter we should just shoot the leeches. I have no sympathy for ANYONE who disregards our laws and our country's sovereignty!
