Canadian Citizen Moving to New York City, Can I Get a Work Visa?

I'm a 19 year old Canadian Citizen (also a Brazilian and Italian Citizen)

I can get a job as an assistant at a magazine, I've been offered a job there already

I'm wondering what i need to actually work in the US

A work Visa?

Can i apply for it?

If not, what can i do?

I want to be there by September, is that possible?

Any website / embassy i can call to get more information?

Thank you so much for the help!

Answer:
If you have already been offered a job, tell them to apply for a temporary working visa/permit, H1B. They need to summit all the paperwork; they need to summit the I-129.

Good Luck
you have to find an employer to hire you and sponsor. otherwise it can be hard unless you have special skills.
