Which of these three Canadian cities is the best for immigration, Edmonton, Winnipeg or Montreal?

I haven't been to these cities, and as a would-be applicant of immigration to Canada, I really want to know the job opportunities, price level of daily necessities, housing (rent) and other related information, like environment, so that I can make a better choice as to the preferred city.

Answer:
If you are a French speaking person then I would say Montreal, simply because it's in Quebec and has many french attributes. Although Montreal would be the most expensive of the three to live in as it is Canada's 2nd largest city (3 million people). All in all though, I would say Edmonton (1 million people) is your best choice. The economy in Alberta (the province that Edmonton is in) is booming because of oil, so the job market is very good and the housing prices are not that high compared to other major cities in the country. It does get cold in Edmonton in the winter, but not usually as cold as Winnipeg. Winnipeg (700,000 people) is the smallest city of the three, has the worst winters and doesn't have a very good job market. I've been to all three of these cities recently, and I would definitely say Edmonton is your best choice.
