Is the problem with amnesty, in the translation from English to Spanish?
This is how it was translated into Spanish. You silly Americans, we not only have our rights, but yours as well , you didn't stop our family and friends in 1986 and what makes you think that you can stop us now, or the 20-30 that are coming after the amnesty of 2007
Answer:
You have some very good points. I can't believe in this day and age we are actually still talking about giving the criminals AMNESTY! I mean really?!? The law makers obviously don't have to live right by these people who have little respect for anyone except what THEY think is owed to them all the while breaking the law.
Sounds like an accurate translation to me.
Hard to tell from you question which you are - American or Mexican. One sentence you say "we" as a citizen of USA, then you turn around and say "silly Americans" you cannot stop us. Make up your mind which side of the border your heart really supports. Tired of Mexicans who want Mexico in the USA. Old saying, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
To make it simple for our non legal people - if you want to be an American, act like an American. Don't act like a Mexican citizen supporting the laws of Mexico and not the US.
The projected number was 250,000 people. That number jumped sky high because so many people have similar names. People were using other people's documentation.
