K1 Fiance Visa Waiting Process?

I want to petition for my fiance to come here ASAP. The waiting as of right now is 4 months and 1 week. The problem is she needs to fill some information out and sign it. When DOES THE WAITING PROCESS BEGIN? Is it as soon as they receive all of our information and all the packets are filled out? Or do I pay a fee and in 4 months and 1 week I will have to see someone then?

Answer:
when you submit and application for fiancee visa you have to remember that you should have all your papers in orders. And when you submit that application The USCIS (INS) Service Centers send the approved petition information to the NVC (National Visa Center) for processing and from there it is sent to the Consulates. It typically takes about a month from the NOA2 date (I-129f approval) until the package arrives at the embassy.

If you don't have all the required documents they will send that packets back to you and you have to do it again. so make sure you ahve all the right papers and documents.
my bf is askin the same question you are, cuz he wants to do the same with me.
Waiting time starts when all information is received. You have stuff here to fill out, it is sent the home office, home office completes the case and sends it to the embassy in her home country. Wait time starts at that point.
