Do you think it's racist to be against letting the illegal aliens stay?
Answer:
No. What's racist about it? they broke the laws and should be punished accordingly. Plus how would legal immigrants who are waiting in line feel if we allowed illegals to stay?
Mexicans are racist. I am racist too. Racism has nothing to do with breaking the law.
I hate Mexicans because most of them ignore our laws.
racist shmacist
Nope..but they do...maybe now they will think that we are so racist they will all go home...
YEAH
Citizens-1
illegals-0
Does it matter? Its about illegal parasites not anybody else.
No, I don't think it's racist. I'm against them staying here, not because they're immigrants, but because they eat up all of our resources. It pains me to know that there are a lot of illegal immigrants that are receiving benefits that U.S. Citizens can't even get. They've made it too easy for them to stay illegally so us taxpayers could support them. I'm against it and I'm not a racist.
No i do not. I don't care what color a person is if they are here illegally they are breaking the law and be sent to where ever they come from.
No, it has nothing at all to do with race. It comes down to wanting our laws obeyed, and wanting everyone to come here legally.
It has nothing to do with being racist. Its about not wanting people here that break our laws, doesn't matter what race they are as long as their legal.
No, it isn't. It is about upholding the LAWS of the land...Why do you think I say "return to country of ORIGIN" What is racist about that? It is upholding the rights that CITIZENS have. If the people in Government wont stand up for OUR CITIZEN rights, then I certainly am not going to vote for them again.
Everyone has their own opinion about these things but its based on ones beleifs. But I dont beleve that it is racism but at the same time I do think it is a little. But one thing i am sure is that one is being racist if one thinks its only mexicans well there are illegals from everwhere.
No I think we need to follow the laws that were passed to protect us all from illegal immigration. I don't know about you but when I am 65 I will need my social security to be there for me and there is nothing racist about it.
Of course its not racist. You believe in laws. All American citizens have to abide by them. The illegal aliens are law breakers not to mention continuing to piss us off by demanding rights in a country they came to illegally.
There are nearly five billion people in the world who live in countries poorer than Mexico. It can safely be assumed that many of those billions—like many Mexicans—would love to come to the United States in search of higher consumption levels.
Some Americans think that would be a great thing. But everybody else thinks it would be a terrible disaster. A 1998 Roper Poll found that only six percent of Americans think we don't have enough people in the country.
Since this is a democracy, subjective questions like this one are best decided by the majority, and since the people have not yet voted the borders out of existence, we have to operate from the position that our country still has them.
One of the characteristics of borders is that it divides the human race into those within the borders and those outside—just like the door to your apartment divides the human race into those within your apartment, and those on the outside. Borders, like doors and locks, are exclusionary by nature.
In the modern age, of course, this seems like a great sin, since a primary modern virtue is "inclusion." We moderns have a difficult time saying "us" and "them."
It goes against our modern sensibilities to say to someone born in Switzerland or Bangladesh, "I'm sorry. You are excluded." To us, it seems "mean."
But it is not mean. It is realistic and necessary and prudent.
Keep in mind one thing: our country is already taking in far more immigrants every year than any other country in the world. This extremely high rate of immigration is causing our nation to undergo massive changes changes the majority of the people of this country don't even want.
Yet for all the people we are taking in, we are still taking in only a little more than one percent of the births-over-deaths population growth of the world. If we are going to be "compassionate" to all the foreigners of the world and dismiss the best interests of our own people, what about that other 99 percent?
Again, it is not mean to control our borders. It is necessary and realistic.
What is mean is leaving our children a country twice as populated as we found it for no good reason other than that we were too lazy, or too cringing, or too benighted, to defend our borders.
why is it racist to not want illegal garbage in ones country. i say we need to blow their wet!back azz back over the rio grand.
what race are we talking about, if they are from Latin American they are Caucasian, not racist just illegal
Not racist.All American
No, not at all.
nope, but sadly many people think that it is. It is not bad or racist to stand up for the united states of america and its laws. its not racist to say if you want to come here, do it legally, its not racist to say if you live here, learn english, its not racist to say if you live here, get a job and pay your taxes, and its not racist to say if you break the law, then be prepared to suffer the consequences.
No it isn't being racist to be against illegals. Illegal is not a race! There are quite a few who do turn it into racism when there is no need and they hurt that cause more than they help it. You don't have to call people names to be against illegals or to want better for America! After all that is why most illegals are here, America offers more in work, culture and in our laws of what you can or can't do. Nothing wrong with wanting better, but it should be done LEGALLY! Note, I do have a child with an illegal, yet I do not agree with how he came!
