I don't think illegals are running *away* from their lives, but instead running *toward* what they think is a better life. And I think that's a significant difference.

Most Mexican millionaire prefer to say in Mexico, including the world's richest man...Carlos Slim. Only the very poorest, uneducated Mexican peasants usually come to the U.S., cause they are not wanted in Mexico either.

The Mexican government doesn't care for their lower class citizens.. There are hardly any jobs there for them, and jobs that are around are already taken. America is a dream to many.. I think that dream will only be a legend shortly if things continue the way they're going with the porous border and failure to enforce our laws. Politicians and employers also lure them over with the hollow promise of an "amnesty" and job openings. If the benefits are taken away, we'd definitely see many stay in their own country.
