I just heard on the news that the Immigration bill died in the Senate!!?
We need to send them a message or they will keep on
doing what ever they want.

Actually, it seems it has only been delayed a bit as the recent vote was on whether they could ram it down America's throat without the usual debates. And it was not defeated by much.
So we all need to keep telling the administrative and legislative branches what WE the PEOPLE think of this bill because it ain't over yet...
In addition to voting the dems who supported the measure out of office, we also need to replace any Republicans who went along with this travesty!... Not with Dems, but with more conservative leaders who will listen to the will of the people.
So good news... but not great news.

The vote was to invoke cloture, not on the bill itself:
"Question: On the Cloture Motion (Motion to Invoke Cloture on S. 1348 )"

And here's a brief explanation of cloture from the link I added below:
"Cloture is the only procedure by which the Senate can vote to set an end to a debate without also rejecting the bill, amendment, conference report, motion, or other matter it has been debating."
So, a vote against it indicates a lack of support, but we're definitely not out of the cactus yet!

I am definitely going to check and will disparage any Senator who voted for it, regardless of whether they are in my district or not. People who support this bill have no business in this country, much less in a position of power.

Feinstein is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I know she has received thousands of calls. I alone call her 5 offices daily telling them to vote no on this bill. The problem is she is not personally touched by illegals. They haven't infringed on her lifestyle. They just clean her home and drive her from place to place. If you go read my 360 blog, I have a question there that got me booted from Y A. It is about Feinstein .

Yes, and thanks for the info! I have been bombarding senators here in my state with emails and signing petitions as well. Yes, we all need to pressure them to secure all borders immediately! This is so crucial people, please do what you can to get our voices heard!
