What do you think about tough new border controls for the UK?

Yes it would be a good thing. I can see the barbed wire stretching around the shoreline as far as the eye can see. What is needed is some way of proving to foreigners that life isn't as wonderful here as they think. How about concentration camps, public beatings, making people we don't like wear a distinctive symbol on their clothes, cutting large groups off from any contact with society? It worked before didn't it. Oh no the rest of the world got all upset and started World War II.

If you believe that it will go ahead, thats up to you. Personally I think its all spin. Usual crap. tell the country what they want to hear and then do nothing about it at all. Spin, spin and yet more spin.
If this involves rebuilding Hadrian's Wall and keeping Scottish politicians out of England, I'm all for it.
if that's what your country wants to do then go for it. it will stop illegals from coming in. if my ancestor was here i would kick them in the pants for leaving England. they should of kept their butts there.

I think its about time,after all, they have had ten years to do it! One has to wonder just WHY its taken so long for this incompetent Government to think of such a thing! I guess it must have been to difficult for them. At last common sense prevails............if indeed it is enforced!!!!!!!
Any one who does any amount of travelling knows our border control is joke and always as been.
I don't want to be pessimistic, but how many times have we heard this from the Labour Government??? So many!
I think it is yet another PR spin stunt from a government that realises just how angry and exploited the indiginous nation feels - it is all talk - nothing will happen - though I would love it to.

I feel we have no right what so ever in refusing to help people less fortunate then ourselves. And how we dare deny, we being masters of invasion, still to this day. The under belly of all this hatred, again is inflicted on the poor of us, where without any concern for our well being, the government flood the poor, on top of the poor. Result, race hatred, gang culture, and a great way to start relieving us of what rights we have left. If we don't like it, take to the streets and complain, see what will happen.

There is no such thing as tough border controls where the uk is concerned. Our country is under siege and there is nothing we can do about it. If you say anything it means you are a racist. The damage is done and it will only get worse.
The wimps in goverment say there is a housing crisis. So they let more in . Tony Blair has held a gun to my countrys head and pulled the trigger.
