Should the US admit only asians from now on?
Answer:
Just allowing one race IS illegal immigration.
EDIT: To be clear, there seems to be an impression that Mexicans are all lazy, non productive criminals. That is simply not true. When I was in law school, I had to work nights in restaurants to make it through. I was in Los Angeles, and worked with a ton of Mexicans...legal and not. These people worked their butts off and were in many ways good friends.
The issue with illegal immigration is the words illegal. Not immigration. True, many of the undocumented illegals fit the stereotype that presents itself. But just as true if not much more true is the fact that MOST Mexicans who come here, follow the path to legality and live here are important members of society. So please, let's stop with "keep all Mexicans out and just let in Asians."
Also for the record, I read a couple of remarks that imply that Asians "never cause trouble." Tell that to a Mexican bodega owner in Los Angeles. Asian gangs are among the most feared in Los Angeles. Some Asian cultures also deal in sexual slavery in minors and other atrocities. But stereotyping the millions of legitimate Asian Americans here would be sinful. Just as stereotyping Mexicans is.
Being that the majority of most top scores in math and sciences are from Asia Americans, all the doctors and engineers in the top schools would be Asian Americans. I am not saying it is a bad thing, but it's something to consider. Maybe we could learn from them
got rice
no, because that really WOULD make us all racist instead of just having that interpretation from the liberal media
I think we have had enough of everyone. Shut all the doors.
I got a question. Why not programs to educate Americans already here?
No we should admit anyone who comes legally.
Cool I am Asian.
Really? Guess you haven't heard of the Asian gangs that are more vicious than a lot of others, especially in areas with a big population of Vietnamese.
that's a very sophomoric thing to say
You could go on and on with factual and supportive claims/information for that desire, but it would be easily squashed by civil liberties lobbyists.
So it would be theory vs practice :(
But the concept or the defense that 'they work hard, and do not ...' blah blah is irrelevant.
The influx of immigration, using say ten thousand as a rough number, will yield 60% slackers and abusers looking for a free ride, 39% productive, but average persons and 1% advantageous. Advantageous is the key. If a country deems someone from another country to be helpful or advantageous to their nation(for whatever various reasons), than they can offer that person and their immediatley family ONLY, citizenship, in return for their services.
Most countries already have a decent native working community; people who are average and productive.
You do not need to allow ten thousand immigrants in, only to have 1-2% be of any real use. Productive people are everywhere, but you know where they are not at? They're not at work, because affirmative action gives those jobs to equally or less 'productive' average immigrants.
why so America's average penis size can shrink?
Stupid answers isn't it?
well I had to try some how to match your stupid question.
i want multiculturalism, not a place where every one looks the same. If that means bringing in more asians, so be it. just please, not from mexico.
I agree with you. I work in a place where 90% of the employees are Asian and they are never a problem. Like you said, they work harder than everyone else (except for illegal Mexicans) and seldom complain about their working conditions like blacks and whites do. Let them all in, I say.good question.
Companies should sponsor whoever is allowed in. I am not Asian but work for a consulting firm where a large number of employees are transplants from foreign countries. If companies have a need for certain skills that can't be filled locally, then they should be able to make requests for those with the education, and background to perform the work, whether thats Asian, Black, or White.
The same gos for illegals already working here. If a company needs these people to stay then they should sponsor these people so that they can stay. If they are not willing to do that then they should not hire them.
No. This country can't keep bringing in more people. Too much can be a burden.
