First off, there is no such thing as "ILLEGAL immigration" because if you are immigrating to America you are doing it legally.
Pros of ILLEGAL ALIENS - absolutely NOTHING!!!!
Cons of ILLEGAL ALIENS - increased crime, increased disease, increased identity theft, theft of jobs that Americans want, over crowding of schools, health care system problems, lower wages for Americans, increased taxes, etc.....
Besides, WE DON'T NEED THE ILLEGAL ALIENS! Proof: May 1, 2006 - "A day without an immigrant" protest showed that we are fine without them. They claimed that our country would be crippled when the pro-illegals didn't work, go to school, etc... The day was great. Teachers were able to teach their students, businesses went along great and people could actually drive 75mph in LA during rush hour!
This is about LAWS, not race!
No pros all cons. My wife is from Panama. It took us several years and lots of money for her to become a citizen so I can't stand anyone going around the system.

Pros are that they will work for next to nothing. If you have a business you can make good money. Cons are that they all decide to stay and your country terns into something your grandfathers did not fight for. But then again it is sort of their country if you go back far enough....
Pros=Cheaper to rebuild New Orleans (since they have few money)
Cons=School are over crowed

-Immigrants keep save thousands of businesses every year in the US. Mature people,Cheap labor, hard workers. Zero to minimal turnover.
- Immigrants are conservationists who care about the planet. They beleive in reducing pollution. Why do you think 20 squeeze in to an escort and commute to work together.
- Immigrants bring many businesses to the US. How many privately owned minority businesses do you think exist in a Chicago, New York, LA and Miami? Taquerias, Carnicerias, Paletas, clothing stores, candy stores, etc..
- If not for immigrants, the farm lands in the US would not produce what it does today. Do you think an american 17 year old kid will walk miles every day picking corn in the blistering sun? Sure... How many.... Not many.
- Mattress and crib sales would decrease. Average immigrant families are large and about 30 sleep on the floor.
- Without immigrants, what in the world would you eat at the park? Nothing! Drink water! Why? Because they wouldnt be selling you paletas or corn on the cob!
- Every restaurant in the United States has clean dishes and no garbage over flowing.
- Rich americans have clean houses. Large retail and office complexes are clean when you come in to work in the morning.
- Nice lawns, increased sales in gardening equipment and americans can focus on writing music, watching TV, and reading.
- They add to your social security when you retire.
- Automobiles operate efficiently.
- Your house is remodeled at 20% of the price.... Which equals more money for large retail companies such as home depot, more money for the employee selling, and a wealthier american. Also translates in to less money spent by the american on home repairs but a larger net gain on resales of property when sold. This means more money for Sallie to go to HArvard, Jimmy to have his corvette, and mommy to buy Martha Stewart merchandise.

To the guy who got mad about people 'getting around the system', alot of illegal immigrants don't have the time to wait to find work in order to feed their family or get an education or survive. People talking about all these cons on illegal immigration, be happy you've never had to go through anything tough like alot of these immigrants have. American, get a heart.

American citizenship is not a right, it is a privliage. Last time I checked, a privilage is EARNED. For those of us born here, we have to earn it every day. Our parents busted their butts to make ends meet, send us to school, and keep food on the table. My grandfather fought in WWII at Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal. I am still earning my right to be a citizen, by now busting my butt to support my family. My tax dollars SHOULD NOT go to help someone who is illegal, but someone who is here legally and needs assistance.
To Alejandra below me. Again, I have no problem if those who perform those tasks come into the country LEGALLY. If you are here as an ILLEGAL ALIEN then you need to go back to whatever country you came from, I don't care WHAT task you perform. The argument is that Americans would not perform those tasks. I say bull. Americans would perform those tasks, but companies and employers would rather pay illegals low wages than someone else fair market value. The employers should be punished as well.

Pros: The Latinos are helping the American economy. Without us who would be picking the vegetables and fruits from the fields? Who would be the janitors at the schools? Who would be mowing the lawn for Americans, building houses, plumbing. I have seen Americans do these jobs but only a very small percentage around the area that I live. I live in San Jose, CA and here you only see Latinos mowing the lawns. Sure, once in a while you will see an American do it but very rarely. Not all Latinos are immigrants. The ones who were born here are going to make a difference in this country. I have nothing against with Latinos crossing the border although I DO have a problem with the ones that have committed crimes in their countries. Also, when they mean illegal aliens they mean anyone that has arrived at the united states for more than just a visit but to live here. What pisses me off the most is that Americans judge Latinos for being immigrants because we don't have blond hair and colored eyes like they do even though there are illegal Europeans in this country and they don't say anything to them. Just like our Governor Arnold whatever his last name is.

Illegal immigration hurts eveyone, even if your the one trying to be employed illegal. Being illegal casues lots of problems, no taxes to the country your in, want support when not working or hospitals. It puts loads on the country that your illegal in, and if you employ illegals your adding the the problem.
