What I don't understand is: What is wrong with this approach? We do it for many of this nations laws. In fact, republicans LOVE to tout how they are so for capital punishment because it deters criminals from committing murder. Granted, it does NOT deter anyone, and the whole practice is inhumane, but let's not pick on the Republican lack-of-logic.
Back to my point: As long as we are unwilling to enforce our own immigration laws, they will continue to exploit them, and our nations legal residents.
