Read it and look at all the benefits others would get (including illegals), but not the American people. And if this was such a cooperated effort between President Bush, Mexican President Vincente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, then how come the American taxpayers would have to pay for everything, and not Canadians, or Mexicans?

I an not in favor of the NAU, I see no reason to support Mexico and lose our identity and our separateness. I like being an American from The United States of America and having all these foreign open door things sounds like the end of our nation as we knew it to be. This is something that we should be able to vote on not have it sprung on us after the deed. and it provides no incentives for our country, we'll be terrorist ridden with no control! I'm totally against it.
I do not like the idea, NAFTA was a bad idea and any type of North American Union will only benefit America at Mexico's expense.
I think the Canadians would be pretty well shafted, also. It is their resources they would lose control of, oil and lumber, and unlike the Mexicans who would get (our) education and services we fund and need for ourselves, what, really, would individual Canadians get out of the deal?
We really have to keep our eyes on this issue. I am afraid it is close to the time where we have a one world government and that scares the #### out of me.It is going to turn the whole control of the world over to just a few insane power hungary people who will take all rights away from everyone. It will be like living in a horror flim.
My thoughts are that all those involved with pushing the amnesty bill at us without proper research should be scrutinized and when you go to the polls let your vote be your voice. When that many people are against something and our legislators still try slipping it through says volumes about who's interest is being served in the United States.
As for the SPP, Goode is a legislator in my state and I have kept up to date with his website and a few others, I feel like a conspiracy theorist sometimes but I still keep up to date as much as I can, I also read the updates of a judicial watchdog group who is going after this issue with the freedom of information act. We need to pay attention for sure.

The creation of the NAU would mean that Mexicans would be able to come to our country without a passport. Forget about bu idling a fence to keep out these invaders. It is back door amnesty for all the illegals in our country.
It is a truly insane policy for the USA and Canada to form a union with a poor, third world country like Mexico. The European Union works because all the countries in it are first world countries with a similar culture. I wouldn't mind a union with Canada, but I think the Canadians would lose out in that situation as they would be overwhelmed by American culture. Many Canadians are strongly against this union, as reported in the article below.
